  Educational Background:
Dissertator in Botany. Minor in Limnology and Marine Science. August 1999- Expected completion August 2004

Universidad Autónoma de Baja California Sur. La Paz, BCS. Mexico. Major: Marine Biology. Valedictorian. August 1993 - December 1997.

  Current Projects:
I have determined that topographic heterogeneity affects wetland plant assemblages, assessed across five spatial scales in a reference site in Mexico. My attempts to restore diversity to a large restoration site in the US have shown that biodiversity loss is not readily reversible in wetlands with severe environmental stresses.
