Current Research

I am currently working with ferns in the Botrychium (grapefern) genus. We’ve found many morphs of the same species and are investigating possible genetic differences. We hope to use AFLPs or microsats to expand our work to the population level. I’m interested in how populations are related to each other as well as the amount of interbreeding and diversity present. We’re also looking at morphological data sets on Cirsium hillii and Cirsium pitcheri.

Research Experience
