Botany Undergraduate
Major
The Department of Botany will have a new set of Undergraduate Major requirements
starting the Fall semester, 2007. Students declaring the Botany Major after
the Fall semester of 2007 begins will be under the new requirements. Students
who have declared the Botany Major prior to the Fall semester of 2007, will
be under the old requirements. Because the new requirements may permit earlier
completion of the Botany Undergraduate Major, students under the old requirements
are advised to consider the new requirements. If the new requirements allow
for an easier or more timely completion of the Botany Undergraduate Major,
students can drop the Botany Major and then redeclare the Botany Major once
the Fall semester of 2007 begins. Students are urged to consult with their
advisors prior to switching to the new Botany Major requirements.
