Physiological, Cellular, and Molecular Biology

Faculty in this section study biochemical and biophysical mechanisms underlying plant growth, development, and the regulation and compartmentalization of enzyme activity. Specific interests include light-regulated gene expression; peroxisomes and glyoxysomes; developmental biochemistry; cytodifferentiation; plant-atmosphere interactions; and molecular transport mechanisms.
