Current Projects

Reconstructing the history of Asian dust flux and its biogeochemical impacts on old-soil montane rainforests in Kauai, Hawaii during the Quaternary with a focus on 1) analyzing how Asian dust production and Hawaiian precipitation have affected the rate of dust accumulation and/or phosphorous (P) balance in the Hawaiian forest ecosystems and 2) understanding how changes in P balance have influenced the Hawaiian forests over the Quaternary.
