Snail and Slug pollination

There are few species of plants being pollinated by snails and slugs. The succulent parts of these plants such as flowers are being consumed by these animals. Plants that are pollinated, are usually grown very close to each other in water or moist areas and their anthers and stigmas do not protrude much from their corolla.
