Note: This evergreen, flat-needled conifer is suitable individually as a focal point specimen or as a group for evergreen screens or hedges. Taunton Yew may suffer and die if grown in heavy, poorly drained soils. Twig dieback may occur under extreme temperature fluctuation. Prefers sunny to partly shady, moist, well-drained, organic-rich soil.
