Note: This rhizomatous plant is suitable for perennial borders, prairies, meadows and wild gardens. The flowers attract butterflies and bees. Unlike Ragweed, the wind-borne pollen of Goldenrod does not cause hay fever (allergic reaction). Monitor plant for rust, and divide once every 3 to 4 years. Prefers sunny, moderately dry, well-drained, ordinary garden soil.
