Pinching off the stem tips, and removal of the flower spikes will encourage bushiness, and better overall looks respectively. Monitor plant for whiteflies, spider mites, mealy bugs, aphids and leaf spots. Prefers partly shady to shady, moist, well-drained, organic-rich soil.
