Note: This plant is suitable for vegetable gardens, flower gardens, and in large containers. It's fruits are edible, and commonly used in many dishes either sauteed, roasted, stir-fried, stewed, pickled, or stuffed. Monitor plant for Verticillium wilt, Colorado potato beetles, cutworms, tomato hornworms, and flea beetles. Prefers sunny, moderately dry, well-draine, ordinary garden soil.
