Note: This clump-forming perennial is suitable for rock gardens, cottage gardens, border fronts, and along path ways. The common name "Blue-Eyed Grass" is in reference to a yellow spot on the plant's blue petals. This plant has grass-like leaves. To maintain a vigorous, healthy plant Blue-Eyed Grass should be divided once every 2-3 years. Prefers sunny to partly shady, moist, well-drained, ordinary garden soil.
