Note: This plant can be used for water, bog and pond gardens, or stream margins. Common Arrow Head produces edible, starchy potato-shaped tubers at the end of its rhizomes. This plant hs emerged and submersed leaves. It also makes a good candidate for pond restoration. Monitor plant routinely for aphids or spider mites. Prefers sunny, wet, ordinary garden soil.
