Note: This plant has a low spreading habit with glossy foliage and a bronze-red Fall color. This rose is suitable in masses or groupings for optimum visual impact, and is resistant to mildew, black spot and rust. This shrub rose (Rosa 'Meipotal' P.P. 8841Carefree 'Delight' TM) was bred by Alain Meilland in France and introduced by the Conard-Pyle Company. Propagation for commercial purposes is forbidden until the plant patent expires in July, 2014. Prefers sunny, moist, well-drained, ordinary garden soil.
