Flowers are fragrant and the fruits are edible (pies, preserves and jellies). Both the female and male plants are required for fruit production. Monitor plant for aphids, scales, bud mites, anthracnose, leaf spot and blight. Prefers sunny to partly shady, moderately dry, well-drained, organic rich soil.
