Note: This emergent rhizomatous plant is suitable for water gardens. Planting depth of Pickerel Weed should be around 3-5 inches deep. In order to avoid winter damage, the crown of this plant should be covered in up to 4 inches of water. Prefers sunny, wet, ordinary garden soil.
