Note: This clump-forming plant is suitable for woodland gardens, cottage gardens, border fronts, or rock gardens. Cutting back the plant to basal foliage after flowering, will increase the chances for late summer flowering. Excessive exposure to direct sun light, and dry soil will cause leaf scorch, and/or tip burn respectively. Monitor plant for slugs and powdery mildew. Prefers partly shady, moderately dry, well-drained, organic-rich soil.
