Note: Basil can be used fresh, or dried in a variety of dishes or condiments. This plant is suitable for herb gardens or borders. Pinching out the stem tips will encourage bushiness. Monitor plant for Japanese beetles, slugs, snails, gray mold and root rot. Prefers sunny, moist, well-drained, organic-rich soil.
