Note: These plants are suitable for water gardens or ponds. Flowers of N. odorata are fragrant and available in pink and purple varieties in markets. The rhizome of N. tuberosa produces many tubers.The tubers are favorite food of many waterfowl. These plants should be placed where the water level is 10-20" above the rhizome and pot. Prefer sunny to partly shady, wet, loamy organic-rich soil.
