Note: This rhizomatous, clump-forming plant is suitable for borders, wet meadows, or near ponds and streams. The curved raceme is similar to a goose's neck, hence the common name Gooseneck. This plant may become invasive in moist areas. Prefers sunny to partly shady, moist, well-drained, ordinary garden soil.
