Note: This tree is suitable as a shade tree in large-scale landscaping. Wood from the Tulip Tree is used in the production of furniture, plywood, paper pulp, boathouses, and as general lumber. Monitor plant for verticillium wilt, mildew, mold, canker, scale, and aphids. Prefers sunny, well-drained, moist, loamy organic-rich soil.
