Note: This deciduous conifer is suitable for large space landscaping and has an interesting yellow fall color. European larch is an important source of timber and also the only source of Venetian Turpentine. Monitor plant for aphids, larch sawflies, tussock moth, Japanese beetles, larch case-bearer, needle case, canker and needle rust. Prefers sunny, moist, well-drained, sandy-loam, rich soil.
