Note: 'Henry's Garnet' is suitable as a specimen, foundations, borders, group planting, and naturalizing shrub areas. Leaves (1-4" long) turn to a beautiful red in autumn. Flowers are borne in cylindrical, drooping racemes (3-6" long) and are fragrant. Plant prefers moist, rich, slightly acidic soils in sunny to shady sites with good drainage.
