Note: Candytuft is suitable for edging, borders, ground cover, and rock gardens. After flowering, pruning the plant back by 2/3 will enhance its bushiness. Crown rot is common in poorly-drained wet soils. Sun scorch and leaf desiccation may occur during Winter months, especially if the plant is not mulched properly. Prefers sunny, fairly dry, well-drained, ordinary garden soil.
