Note: This plant is primarily grown for its attractive foliage, and is suitable for borders, containers and as a specimen. To prevent leaf scorch, Caladium should be kept away from direct sunlight. Watch for snails and slugs, which feed on caladium foliage. Prefers partly shady to shady, moist, well-drained, sandy, organic-rich acidic soil.
