Note: This plant is suitable for naturalized areas. The sap of the stem contains a yellow latex that is used in natural dyes, cosmetic formulations and pharmaceutical products (to cure warts and ring worm). The roots of Celandine are highly toxic. Prefers sunny to partly shady, moderately dry, well-drained, sandy, organic-rich soil.
