Note: This clump-forming perennial is suitable for borders, cottage gardens, slopes or banks. Removal of spent flowers will encourage additional flowering and prevent self seeding. This plant becomes a more compact form when grown in poor and infertile media. Monitor plant for aphids and mealy bugs. Prefers sunny to partly shady, fairly dry,well-drained, slightly alkaline, ordinary garden soil.
