Note: This plant is suitable for shrub borders, and dry slopes or banks. Flowers are fragrant and white. Young branches are very attractive during the Winter months. During the American Revolutionary War, leaves of New Jersey Tea plant were used as a substitute for tea. Monitor plant for powdery mildew and leaf spot. Prefers sunny, moderately dry, well-drained, organic-rich soil.
