Note: This rhizomatous plant has both an attractive foliage
and flowers. Spent flowers should be removed after bloom. Canna is suitable
for borders, backgrounds, beds, and large containers. During the cold season,
rhizomes should be dug out and kept at 40-45 F till the following Spring.
Monitor plant for rhizome rot, aster yellow, caterpillars, Japanese beetles,
snails, and slugs. Prefers sunny, moist, well-drained, organic-rich soil.
