Note: This low-maintenance decidpous shrub is suitable for mass planting, boundries or as a specimen. This Plant has purple leaves, yellow flowers and red berries. In the Fall it developes an attractively colored foliage. There is no need to prune this shrub. Monitor plant for aphids, barberry webworm, scale, bacterial leaf spot, anthracnose, root rots and wilt. Prefers sunny, moderately dry, well-drained, ordinary garden soil.
