Note: This compact, fibrous-rooted plant is primarily
grown as an annual, and is suitable for beds, containers, window boxes,
borders and edging. Monitor plant for powdery mildew, blight, crown rot,
stem rot, leaf spot, mealy bugs and thrips. Good air circulation is required
to reduce fungal diseases. Cultivars with bronze-green leaves tolarate
full sun locations better than green leaf cultivars. Prefers sunny to partly
shady, moist to moderately dry, well-drained, organic-rich soil.
