Note: This evergreen, flat needled conifer is suitable individually as a focal point specimen or as group for an evergreen screen. White fir is exceptionally tolerant of drought and heat. The needles are up to 2 inches long, soft, flexible and bluish-green during warm seasons and grayish-green during cool seasons. Cones are upright (not pendulous as most conifers) and about 5 inches long. White fir does not transplant well during fall season.
