Habitat:  Narrow channel connecting a humic-stained bog lake to the north with a clear, soft-water seepage lake to the south. In 2--3 feet of water; substrate of soft peat and muck. Assoc.: Brasenia schreberi, Najas gracillima, Eleocharis robbinsii, Nymphaea odorata, and several Utricularia spp.
 
Text:  Very small population in channel only; apparently not in either lake. No fertile material found. Note: stems of new growth have sprouted from fragments of old stems from the previous year. Sheet 2 of 2.
