Habitat:  Lake inlet from creek. Growing in very shallow water from 0-8 inches, most in 2-3 inches of soft muddy bottom at edges of inlet stream. General habitat along this portion of stream is sparse swamp conifers thinning into Alnus rugosa/sedge meadow. Water is very cold (approx. 50 F, measured).
 
Text:  About 10 clones seen, rooting readily above creeping stems. Only a few rametes flowering, a few in bud, a few in nearly mature fruit. Leaves mostly floating with one clone with slightly submerged leaves. Fresh petals less than 5mm long. Additional collector(s): Robinson, Pat and Jaunzems, Mark.
