Habitat:  Growing in a localized area of a shallow basin with sparse vegetation & no sphagnum. Currently holding 2-4 inches of water (heavy rains during last month). Site dominated by Carex oligosperma. Common species include Juncus spp. (coll #798), Drosera intermedia, Utricularia intermedia, Hypericum canadense, Viola lanceolata (some submerged, some in fruit), Dulichium arundinaceum. Uncommon Euthamia graminifolia. Center area with deeper water had Eleocharis sp., Fimbristylis, & a floating-leaved pondweed.
