Habitat:  Growing in partial shade in a shrubby mixed alder-black ash swamp on large tussocks of Carex bromoides over-hanging open water, near a small, flowing stream. With Impatiens capensis, Laportea canadensis, Glyceria striata, Carex stipata, Festuca subverticillata, Boehemeria cylindrica, and Galium asprellum.
 
Text:  Rare. At perhaps five pools, there are six tufts on hummocks. Other suitable areas are uncommon and did not yield Poa. (Same collection area as collection No. 03069).
