Habitat:  Southern sedge meadow; assoc. Carex stricta-dominant, Typha latifolia-locally dominant in wettest spot, with Amorpha fruticosa (abundant), Campanula aparinoides var. grandiflora, Chelone glabra, Eupatorium maculatum, Hasteola suaveolens, Mentha arvensis var. canadensis, Onoclea sensibilis, Polygonum sagittatum, Solidago gigantea, Spartina pectinata (very rare), and Thelypteris palustris var. pubescens.
