Habitat:  Mesic prairie along abandoned railroad. With Zizia aptera, Z. aurea, Silphium terebinthinaceum, Rosa sp., Phlox pilosa, Dodecatheon media, Lithsopermum sp., Geranium maculatum.
 
Text:  BER1991. 700+ plants plants in full flower. Corollas pale blue to white. Many plants in full shade under Corylus. One of two known estant stations in WI.
