Habitat:  Plant from mesic thicket, under Acer negundo w/ Campanula americana, Elymus hystrix, E. virginicus, and Helianthus strumosus (some or most assoc. may have been planted). Seeds from closed-canopy oak woods (Quercus ellipsoidalis- Q. macrocarpa - Q. alba). in which Agastache nepetoides appeared as basal rosettes ( have peculiar but nice fragrance) w/in 1 year after understory thinning and burning had been undertaken.
 
Text:  BER2004. Grown from seeds collected in the wild. Polycarpic perennial; stems erect, those in flower 0.56-1.85m tall; corolla clear, slightly pale lemon yellow. Savanna species being pushed into mesic & espec. bottonland woods. Sheet 2 of 2.
