Habitat:  More-or-less open bottomland hardwood forest (Acer saccharium dom., Fraxinus pennsylvanica sub. dom.) along bank of spring-fed stream.
 
Text:  5 pls., rooted in moss-liverwort-humus accumulation over tree roots. Assoc. most closely with: few sm. Laportea canadensis plants., Lysimachia ciliata, L. terrestris, Galium obtusum, & Scutellaria galericulata; 42.cm tall w/ 3 developed + 2 reduced lvs.;
