Habitat:  Found growing to the W of an old railroad of way that is running directly through a beautiful Northern white cedar swamp. The upper canopy is ~95% Northern White Cedar, sub-canopy red osier dogwood, and the forest floor is predominantly ferns and sphagnum moss.
