Note: This tulip has large flowers, short petiole and slightly reflexed petals. It is suitable for permenant planting in flower beds and borders. Kaufmanniana Tulip is a good companion for early and midseason daffodils. It's flowers resemble waterlilies when fully opened. Monitor plant for basal rot, stem rot and gray mold. Prefers sunny, moderately dry, well-drained, sandy, organic-rich soil.
