Note: This tulip produces some of the largest flowers of the genus. It is suitable for borders, large drifts and as a companion for daffodils. Fosteriana Tulips are often refered as 'Emperor' Tulips. Monitor plant for basal rot, stem rot and gray mold. Prefers sunny, moderately dry, well-drained, sandy, organic-rich soil.
