Note: This rhizomatous plant is suitable for water gardens. Parrot's Feather has submerged and emergent leaves. Submergent leaves acts as an oxygenator and also provide a shelter for fish. Place containers submerged in up to 4 to 6 inches of water. This plant may spread invasively. Prefers sunny to partly shady, wet, organic-rich soil.
