Note: This short lived rhizomatous plant is suitable for perennial borders. The common names "Blackberry Lily" and "Leopard Lily" are in reference to the clusters of blackberry-like seeds and red spots or dots on the flowers. Prefers sunny to partly shady, moderately dry, well-drained, ordinary garden soil.
